of our patio covers, arbors and screen rooms meet or even exceed Texas
Windstorm building requirements. We didn't have any service calls due
to damages from Ike. However, one customer sent us pictures of a very
large tree that fell onto the patio cover we constructed in 2005. The
reason they were so happy? The cover we built was so strong, it took
the blow of the fallen tree. Our cover sustained very little damage,
but what they wanted us to see was the patio cover saved the tree from
crushing the roof above their living room. Now, that's a strong and
well-built patio cover. And, we build them ALL that way!" Joe
